Go Karting!!!
Filed Under Uncategorized | Leave a Comment
Last Saturday had been a full and exciting day for me (after many stagnant weekends..)! Started out with Go-kart racing event, organized by my company at Sunway Extreme Park!

(My team members)
Well, the first and only time I played Go-Kart was like 4 to 5 years ago, also organized by my company at that time. Haven’t gotten a driver license, a little phobia of driving and being a little cowardly, I drove at a very slow pace. Perhaps only a little faster than a tortoise!

But 5 years later, I am a certified.. uhm.. driver on the road, a little more experienced in driving and a little more brave, I stepped on the accelerator generously and braking only when turning the corner or when I thought I saw the white light.. kidding..!
But I had my fun on the 8 laps of go-karting, although well, didn’t really win any prizes.. Some of my colleagues were so wild that they banged on each other, on the tyres that were placed along the circuit and the funniest was losing one wheel out of four! But it was kinda safe, so he came trailing back with 3 wheels and was cheered for his so-called-heroism~!!!

Ahh… a sure fun way to start a weekend. I think I’ll be back for more on my own with friends as there is promotion for the game, only RM15 for 8 laps~
Not bad, huh?!

My Perfect Sunday~
Filed Under Uncategorized | 1 Comment
Last Sunday has been a perfect day for me. I slept till past noon! Something that I’ve not done for a long time.. And before I got out of my bed, it started to rain.. and it rained on and off for the whole day. Simply a marvelous day and the weather was so cooling and perfect~
Cooked simple brunch and dinner, made myself a big mug of carrot juice~ I even took a nap after lunch. Went out a night to remind myself how to drive and had French fries for supper~
A perfect, relaxing and cooling day~
How I wish it rains every Sunday (or even Saturday will do)..

Got this from 5xmom~

You Are 39% Vain |
![]() Okay, so you’re slightly vain from time to time, but you’re not superficial at all. You are realistic. You know that looks matter. You just try to make them matter less. |
And I am less vain than I thought I am! ^.^

Boys next door~
Filed Under Uncategorized | Leave a Comment
There is these two cutest pair of twin boys, aged around 2 years old living next to my house in PJ. They have an elder brother, probably 7 years old. The thing is every morning (almost every morning at least), they will wail and cry after their mummy who has to go to work!
And then they’ll cry to go ‘gai gai’ (means go outside) as their elder brother is out for school. Then mummy will say ‘ko ko’ (elder brother) go to school, not ‘gai gai’. Next time when you are big boy, you can go to school too. And they will still wail and insisting of ‘gai gai’. It happens nearly everyday!!!
Thank god kids are cute, or else..
Anyway, the twin boys start to recognize me already as when they are placed at the porch or out for a stroll with their grandma, the grandma will point to me and say ‘che che’ (means big sister). Sometimes they will point to me and say ‘che che’..
Ooh.. so cute boys~
And yeah, I never see them smile before!!! They always frown, yes, even if they’re just two years old! But hey, still looks simply adorable~!

Yesterday I watched the last episode of Desperate Housewives Season 3 with very high anticipation. Every single episode has been very juicy and exciting~ And so I hope the last one should have a very good ending (as I never heard of DH 4).
But turned out the ending wasn’t a thrilling one and left me yearning for more. They should be a better ending if this is the last season (which I really hope not the case)~
Yeah, Eddie committed suicide at the last scene, that’s something huge & unexpected. But then again, she wasn’t as big star/role as the others (or so I think)..

Anyway, I was so touched by one of the scene, actually what Mike said to Susan. Susan wants a grand, lavish wedding and because of this, his husband-to-be, Mike, a plumber (she dumped Ian, the millionaire for a plumber!) couldn’t quite afford. So he had to wake up in the middle of the night to take mid-night plumbing jobs that makes more money.

So Susan, feeling that she had burdened Mike with her big wedding dream, told him that she was willing to scale down the wedding. And guess what Mike said :
I cannot afford to buy you a big mansion house; I can’t fly you to Paris but I’ll be damn if I can’t give you the same big wedding dream that Ian can afford to give you~
Girls, so sweet, right? Touching~
Guys, something to learn here.. hahahaa..

My lucky day?
Filed Under Uncategorized | Leave a Comment
I was waiting and queuing patiently for the train to come this morning, a little agitated as I would be late for work, at least 5 minutes. An empty train approaching and I thought, not another one. Normally empty trains would be sent directly to KL Central to pick up the massive number of passengers there. NEVER stop in Paramount station before..
And I couldn’t believe it that after 2 years of taking trains to work, an empty train finally stopped at Taman Paramount station!!! Unbelievable!
A jolt of luck, I would say. So I stepped in cautiously, expecting the train to announce an error and ask us to all get out of it. But it never did~
So, happily, feeling that it must be my lucky day, I sat down on a seat. Mind you, I can’t recall the last time I get a seat in the train in the morning to work. Getting a good place to stand would be luxurious! What’s more a seat which I could choose~ ^.^
Somtimes, we could use a dab of faith~
But YUP, I was still 5 minutes late to work =P

Weekend @ Malacca~
Filed Under weekend, family | Leave a Comment
Last weekend I went back to my hometown Malacca after nearly a month didn’t go back. I bought the 7pm bus ticket but the damn Transnasional bus didn’t arrive till 7.40pm and departed around 7.50pm, which made me waited for an hour at the super-hot-Pudu bus station! >.<
Anyway, the weekend was quite relaxing as I had plenty of the much-needed-sleep despite the scorching hot weather in the morning and night. The only un-peace-ful thing was my mother’s friend from Singapore came to overnight at our house. She’s a nice lady, around fifties, very modern and friendly, except that she’s like a radio, talking non stop all the time!
Oh my, I really couldn’t stand a chatterbox that talks non-stop and she really could talk to anybody, regarding any topic. Sometimes I have to hide in my room for some peace. She asked me if I would want to go to Australia with her, just buy air tickets and we could stay at her relative’s house there. Gosh, tell me what holiday would that be?! I am just so glad that she’s not my mother; don’t get me wrong, she’s nice just that she loves talking so much. >_<
Celebrated Father’s Day one week earlier too as I am not sure if I am able to go back hometown again this weekend. Just had a nice dinner with my parents, the chatterbox.. oopps, I mean my mother’s friend and my cousin brother too.. ^.^

Horrible place..
Filed Under Uncategorized | Leave a Comment
Gosh, I overhead something dreadful on my way home as I walked from Taman Paramount LRT. Two ladies were discussing about a robbery happened to their friend this morning on the way to take the train! I believed it was a back lane with bushes that I sometimes took to work. It is actually quite a quiet area, with a lot of trees at one side, a good place for robbery! >_<
A couple of days ago, I walked to the train station using that lane in the morning. An old lady was taking that road too, holding a folded umbrella tightly in her hand.
Suddenly I heard a motorbike coming from the back, and having a bad experience; I quickly turned around and saw a Malay guy (if not mistaken) on the bike. Upon seeing both of us, he made a U-turn back! I am rather sure he was up to no good but didn’t get a very good opportunity!
I shall never take that lane alone again, unless more than 3 people taking it! >_<
Damn robbers, always make us live in fear!!!

Saisaki Japanese Buffet Dinner~
Filed Under Uncategorized | Leave a Comment
My manager was so loaded, treating 28 people for Saisaki Japanese Buffet dinner on Wednesday at UOA building! Reason was we finished all the projects for 2.0 on schedules and it was an appreciation of our effort. ^.^ (for all the managers out there, something to learn here~) =P

That’s my boss, in dark blue shirt~
Well, it wasn’t as nice this time compared to the first time I had it with my previous department colleagues earlier this year.
Perhaps it was the people, perhaps it was the food, or perhaps it was my mood~

Still, I chucked in two plates of main dishes, a plate of fruits and barely 2 scoops of chocolate and green tea ice creams~
No sushi for me, nope, too filling. But lotsa fish, octopus, squid and prawns~
Yummy (especially when it’s free)~

Shoes~ Shop! Shoes~
Filed Under Uncategorized | Leave a Comment
As I have promised myself a good shopping day, I splurged on not one pair, not two but three pairs of shoes!!!
Yeah~ two pair are totally worth the price, as one is up to 70% irresistible discount and one was not too cheap but heck, Tung said it’s nice and I quite like it and totally need a flat shoes.
So here I present my 3 shoes (after 3 hours of hunting) :

Lovely lacy wedges, velvety black heels, casual flat shoes~
On top of that I got myself a skinny white belt and a black leggings at a bargained price. Oh, don’t I love Sg Wang on weekday?!? I rather not venture there on weekend as it is more packed than markets and make me dizzy~
Had a marvellous times, thanks to Tung, who got himself a pair of walking shoes too and a card reader~ ^.^
