One weekend I was in Penang, the next one (which was last weekend) I was back to Malacca, my -hometown. Unlike normal sleeping-weekend, I met up with my childhood best buddies for satay celup at Bachang! Surprisingly, quite many turned out and even Prakash whom I only met during Deepavali!

I enjoyed it very muchie, especially the satay celup. We went there on my suggestion as I didn’t have it as often as I like, as my father didn’t really fancy it. And of course I enjoyed the the chatz and catching up with them too.

 Lina, LeeYin, Prakash & Daniel~

My school mates, the best ones~

After that, we continued our chatz at
Geographer, strategically located at Jonker Street, one (probably the only happening place in Malacca beside the pubs) of the crowded flea market in Malacca, drawing a lot of tourists and even locals! Our main topics? House (to buy, the price, the loan, the procedures) and dogs (pets, Tzi Shu, golden retriever, pet food) and catching up, trying to plan a trip to Langkawi early next year..

 Jonker Street!

 Crowded Geographer cafe~
Inside Geographer. I really like the design of old and classic, yet quite nice~
Well, shame to say it is my first visit there! Yup, I stay at home most of the time in Malacca and I hardly know the way around. Couldn’t stop emphasizing to my friends that I can’t be their tour guide if they come to Malacca!

My best pictures of the night~

 Interior, looking out the window~

This trio drank a lot of beers~

But we only drank Esprit only. I like this picture best~

LY was so excited & happy~

 Lina & me~

 Daniel is happy too~

This is Prakash, the talkative chilly padi~

 LY is posing~ Shy & cute~

 More of Geographer pic~

An enjoyable night, home by 2am..

These are the other pictures taken in Penang last weekend..

Me and Jocelyn, the pretty model in the photo shoot in earlier post~

Me at one of the shop, to buy Tau Sar Peah .. How long my hair has grown!

Cool Jocelyn seemed so happy~

Batu Ferringi night market! Full of fake branded stuff, DVD and weird stuff~

Me at Hutton Lodge on Sunday morning~

Yes, look up there, look up there, the photographer said..

See this special stall, the last one in Penang it seemed. The uncles were sitting on the small stool on the bench! And they seemed to be enjoying the food too~

Jocelyn and Lee Yen happy to be snapped at the middle of the road~

The famous cendol (shaved ice with sugar, beans and greenish stuff, dont know the name) near Penang Road.. So yummy, especially for a hot day!

The fisherman village?

Fisherman village again.. nice view.. so peaceful..

Boats..

Kyife by the sea side..

Jocelyn and Lee Yen by the seaside~

 Jocelyn looking contented~

Me during the photoshoot at Batu Ferringi, before the model arrived, I took some pictures first~

Look at the wave! So high~

Posing by the big rock, a rather quiet spot of the beach~

Old buildings at Penang, so many of them

See!?! Penang also has their own twin tower (like KLCC)~

The small, little adorable puppy that I saw when I was in Ipoh! He's just cute, ain't he!

This was the place we put up for a couple of night, Hutton Lodge, at only RM55 (less than USD16!!!) for a double room with shared bathroom. But the shared bathroom was very clean and there were many toilet and shower rooms! Single room is about RM40 I think and the place is near Penang Road, so it is in the center of the city.

The place was opened early this year after renovation as it was burnt down some years ago. So it was very new and very clean! As it was built during the
colonial time, the building has a very unique and nice design, which I really like! So I was happy to stay here.

Service was rather good and they even provided breakfast, toast, banana cake and coffee/tea. There are even two computers for you to access the internet, but of course at RM5 per hour. Parking is free at the porch. I would highly recommend this place and would certainly stay there for my next visit (hopefully soon~)

The modest reception area and living room~

My room was 202, at the end of the corridor~ Felt like staying in a hostel many, many years ago!

The room, just nice size, with large windows around and of course it is air-conditioned!

Shower and toilet together, very clean! And even sharing among males & females!!!

At the washroom~

A nice place for breakfast in the morning too~

So, if you are attracted, find this road sign!

Lastly, this is
NOT a sponsored post, just a happy guest at Hutton Lodge~

When visiting places like Hutton Lodge on a fun holiday, having a business credit card in your wallet, adds to your amusement because with a creditcard, you’re free to shop anything. The discover card rewards offers many different options in this regard. When it comes to business credit card offers, one should never overlook the bad credit card issues that may arise thereafter.

Yesterday we had a secret plan to surprised Yit after work. KW and I picked her up from KLCC as instructed by Sean and bring her to One Utama. Then we had a nice dinner at Teppayanki using the MyStyle sms voucher, buy 1 free 1! Yit was convinced that we were bringing her there for bowling but of course it was not

Then we brought her to the cinema after pretending that the bowling was fully booked. We told her that we gonna watch Harry Potter. But when the movie started, she got a nice surprise~ Ratatouille!!! She had been wanting to watch it and told us since last week, again and again. But we purposely waved her off, telling that it was a lousy movie and we do not want to watch it!

Yes, the movie has not started officially till tomorrow but smart
Sean managed to get 4 premiere tickets by queuing up from 6.15pm to 7.00pm to redeem them~

It was rather a
hilarious animation with a cute Remi, a small little mouse with big dreams! He hates to eat garbage and appreciates really good food. Linguini, the famous chef was his idol! But he didn’t get any support from his big family.. see how he can become a great chef~

Rate : 3.8 stars~ (definitely better than 3.5 stars but less than 4 stars)

Now I want to watch Simpsons!!!

The main objective for this trip was to shoot pretty, pretty pictures for pretty Jocelyn. She’s the one requested and organised for the trip. Too bad her friend’s studio at Penang wasn’t available at last minute.

However we (I only took some and the rest was taken by the photographer Kyife) managed to take many pretty shots for her! The scenes was at Batu Feringgi, a popular beach at the island.

There was this nice, quiet spot with a deserted double-storey-ghostly-looking-house nearby. It was rather spooky but we reached there in the morning, so it was quite ok!

The view was really nice and very windyCool

I took this photo! Pretty, hor!

 This photo also by me~

 This one as well~

The rest of the pretty shots are by Kyife~

 Good figure, rite!?!

On a tree trunk by the beach~

Mesmerizing?   ^.^

I am finally BACK from the short, packed, tiring trip to PENANG, and on the way back, stopped at the food-paradise-IPOH out of a funny little incident by Lulu! Reached home nearly midnight after a never ending ride on the highway.

AND I STILL NEED TO GO TO WORK ON MONDAY!!!  Argghh… >_<
I’ve taken loads of pictures and stay tune for the spanking, pretty Jocelyn portraits pictures at Batu Feringgi with her sexy pinkish bikini! Also the lovely Hutton Lodge at unbeatable prices with ultra clean place that I stayed for a couple of days~

What will u do if you found a crispy ten dollar notes ($10) lying on the ground?

1.       Will u pick up and keep it to yourself. Finder’s Keeper.
2.       Ask others around if they drop their money.
3.       Pretend you didn’t see it.
4.       Ask your friend/family who was with you to pick up and split with her/him the money.
5.       Take it and give to charity.
6.       Give to the bodyguard/staffs working there.

Well, just now after lunch, I found RM10 lying on the ground at the ATM machine at Maybank. It was folded nicely, thus it wasn’t being withdrawn from the machine. There weren’t many people there, nor anyone opening their wallet to be the suspected owner.

Thus I picked it up and put it in my purse together with the money I had just withdrawn. It wasn’t a large sum to begin with (less than USD3) and I couldn’t go to the police station (Sean asked me that!!!) with that money, could I?

So, in this case, finder’s keeper.

Would u have done the same?
