I am back and it is really good to be home (that’s what I felt when I took my shower yesterday at our own bathroom)! I reached home about 8.40pm, much later than expected, more tired than I anticipated but much happier than I imagined! Geez.. I didn’t expect it too be this fun (though a lot of mixed feelings during the team buildings~)

The activities within the 2 days were very packed, we hardly have time for ourselves; except between 11pm and 7.30am which we were too tired to do anything but trying to sleep (trying because unfamiliar with new environment and roommate) and get up at 6.45am!

Well, it was my very first team building experience and it was really fun, with a lot of scary activities to do but nonetheless, the feeling of pure satisfaction after we did it! Yeay~ Of course there was team work, courageous and other values that I learnt, not too mention all the food I ate for breakfast, brunch, breakfast, lunch, tea, dinner!!!

Took many pictures of us in action and will post it once I have the time (after doing the dirty laundry, clean my room, attending classes, work, etc).. Meanwhile, sorry for late responses~

*sigh* .. Gotta work on Monday.. was thinking of MC instead.. /_\

Gee.. this is the toughest part of the game, walking on a rope and holidng on to the hanging rope with tyres at very high level!!! And I…. almost drop!!! >_<

One of the biggest difference I noticed in Bangkok,Thailand and Malaysia, after a little while there, are the cabs! Their cabs (or general vehicle on the roads) are higher class than Malaysia! I guess it is due to the fact that they do not manufacture local car, thus the imported cars, like Toyota (found abundantly there) are much cheaper than Malaysia. Could see so many colourful Yaris there, so nice! Don't you wish we do not manufacture our own car??? Then I would own a Yaris instead of Myvi :S

So the cabs are much better than our old Iswara taxi here (sometimes it stink!). They use Toyota Altis, Nissan, Mitsubishi Lancer and etc as cab! Feel more worth to take the cabs there and it isn’t very expensive either. When you board into the cab, the metre is at 350 Baht(around RM3.50 or USD1) which is more expensive than RM2 at Malaysia but generally I feel that the metre is going much slower than here!

The minimum cab fare I took was at 410Baht and maximum around 900Baht (when there was traffic jam and the destination was rather far!)  So it was rather affordable to travel around with cab, which I did. Except for that one time I travelled by TukTuk. :)

The cabs here are very attractive too!  Reason? It is so colourful and  striking! I simply love it thus I took more than 40 pictures of the colourful cabs. Here are some of them :

 An orange and yellow/green cab!

Striking pink!!! So hot!

Red and blue!

White one.. This color a little rare..

Red chilly cab! Hot!

Purplish with blue line~

Purple with orange line~ Nice color!

Whole bright blue~ Altis..

Limosine? Or what you call that?

Striking Yellow!

Colourful, isn't it? Actually there are a lot of cabs on the road. Probably 20%.. just my rough estimation ..

I like this one, shocking pink with bright blue~

Yellow and Green~

Hot orangy!

Strawberry Icing pink with white stripe~ Yummy~

I think I boarded nearly all color of cabs there. :D

One of the only times I get to gather with my best buddies from secondary school (some from primary school, so we practically know each other for 20 years!) is during festival like Chinese New Year and Deepavali. Though some of us are in KL, we just seldom meet up. So this Deepavali, I determined to go back to Malacca even though I have to work on the next day.

I only visited Renu’s house as Parames is not back from Indonesia yet! Since my parents were coming with me, for the very first time for Deepavali visiting, I didn’t join the rest to Prakash’s house either. It was a simple and happy Deepavali to meet all of them here! Renu’s mum prepared some delicious food for our lunchie.
Here goes de pics :

There are tosai, rice, chicken and mutton curry, acar (vegetables) and the white one, forgot the name!

 The mutton, yummy~

I like the thick curry chicken, very nice to eat with the tosai and rice!

Refreshing acar to go with the food~

She gives us a banana leaf to put our food, nice~

Me, Renu, Lina, LeeYin, LY's bf, Daniel and Prakash~

Believe it or not, our neighbour counterparts (Thailand) are more loving and loyal to their king than us! On the last day, I noticed many people were wearing yellow in colour as there was a big day of their king (not so sure what day is that, but I think it's their King's Birthday). No wonder I saw a lot of places selling yellow shirts.

Spots the yellow on the street! Not Digi man of course!

Yellow shirts for sale!

Spots the yellow on the street!

Yellow everywhere~

Yellow here & there.

Yellow in the bus too~

Yellow cab driver..

Yellow on de bike..

Yellow in TukTuk..

Yellow piggie too~ :D

King picture on the road..

Respect their king..

Is there something we can learn here or are there better reasons? :D

Temples are one of the must visit places in Bangkok! I have planned to go to Grand Palace, Wat Phra Keao and Wat Pho temples on the 3rd day of my visit, after the Chatukchak Market. So around 3pm, we took a cab there and it was damn traffic jam and some roads were closed! Arrgghh.. and the worst thing was we were reminded by the taxi driver that the temples are closed at 3.30pm! :(

So, he suggested that we go to the Marble temple nearby, which we had just passed by and after we agreed, we have to walk back to to the temple for quite a distance! And we didn’t have our lunch yet.:( Hungry, dissapointed, tired..
Anyway, the Grand Palace and Wat Pho temples visit were postponed to the 4th day (last day morning). No regret of going coz it was really beautiful but just darn hot day. I was practically melting. >_<
Didn't get to go to Wat Arun too coz lack of time and my housemate, K, said not much to see anyway.

Four faced God temple, from the free day tour.. We must pray according to anti-clockwise at the 4 side.

The many elephants there, very nice!

The Marble temples, the real name : Wat Benchamabopit Dusitwanaram. Read it aloud!

Inside the temple, a big Buddha.

The Marble temple, actually rather nice and big place.

Outside the Grand Palace, I just was attracted to those pine shaped trees!

Big golden temple dome at Grand Palace. Looking so elegant..

So golden.. So beautiful, isn't it!

Some are squarish one, but as gold as well. Is it real? Beats me!

Some of the temples there are Grand Palace. It is actually a very big place and they gave u a map at entrance. I didn't bother to read it. Too hot to care. Just wanna see see see and get out of there!

An avid photographer!

I am actually in the photo if you look carefully enough. It sure is a tall temple, isn't it!

Me at closer look~

The Angkor Wat monument in the temples. It is said that Angkor Wat used to belong to Siam (Thailand).

Use these lotus flowers to sprinkle the holy water on your head/body and you'll blessed. And so I did. Blessed. :)

The sky is blue, the temple is beautiful~

But look carefully enough, you'll see it is a hot weather!

The lotus flowers with bees inside and temples at the reflection! :D

The buildings nearby, don't know what building is that.

Nice architechure, huh?

A bunch of army came from nowhere and started to march, so I snapped. :P

The Wat Pho huge, sleeping Buddha.

It is really big, you have to walk around it.

You can change into small changes and drop them each into the bowl there. :)

So, remember to visit the temples on your next visit to Bangkok, at least once. :D

At Suan Lum Night Bazaar, I couldn’t help but take pictures of this cute little doggie with so much expression, at a shop! His comical face was just so adorable, ain’t it?

Hey, welcome to my shop! Come in and see~ My products are nice and cheap!!!

It isn't easy for a small dog like me to take care of this big shop. Sometimes I can be so bored at the shop with no customer coming in.

But sometimes, business is good, I am so happy! *smiling* :)

When business is bad, this is how I look like. *sad* :(

Ooohh… Feeling a little tired now..

Please go away.. I really need a rest, by my side of my owner..
