The other day, I asked my ex-colleagues for lunch as my lunch-box-caterer decided not to send me my daily-mixed-rice as she said her man had gone out when she received my order via sms which was rather unlikely to me. Fine.

So at 1pm, I went down to meet up with my ex-colleague. AV called me and asked about my whereabouts.

"Gloria Jeans", I told her.
She was there as well and she told me that our
ex-manager was there too! :|

I quickly scanned around and instantly saw my 2-metre-tall-1-metre-wide-ex-manager (as they described him in the past) buying coffee, around 25 steps from where I was standing.

I quickly dodged before he could see me and found my ex-colleague hiding from him at the corner too. We both broke into
laughter and hurried away before he could spot us.

How funny that we were still escaping from our ex-manager even though we are not under him anymore and he wasn't such a bad guy after all. Come to think of it, we didn't even have much communication or mistreated when we were under him; we were just mere wallpaper that wasn't of much importance to him, or so I felt.

We didn't have no nothing to be ashamed of or be afraid of. He even left the company before I did!!! But why was I running away? It was just instant reaction!

It reminded me of the younger time when I would quickly escape when seeing teachers at pasar malam (night market) or anywhere else. And I have same behavioural act after 10 years out of school.

Would I be the same 10 years later? Or would I just walk over and say Hi, how are you!?!

Our Genting Highland 1 day trip plan went down to drain when it rained over the weekend as in predicted in the weather forecast. So, we went to Bukit Cahaya or also known as Taman Pertanian at Shah Alam for cycling session instead.

It turned out to be rather fun and enjoyable outdoor activities. Even Yit who doesn't know how to cycle could do it once she got onto the bike. Check out some of the pics that we took!

Ready to start cycling!

Taking the pictures of pretty but arrogant peacock, who immediately opened up his beautiful feathers/tail upon seeing us!!!

Some animals at the Taman Haiwan~

And horses too! But they aren't as friendly as we thought!

Foursome~!

The scenery was nice too, greenish and peaceful!

The 4-Season-House was closed for renovation but we could take a peek there. RM3 for entrance but it was free during renovation~

Some pictures before we left!

It's nice to have some sort of outdoor activities sometimes instead of shopping and watching movies like we always do~  :)

Today is the big day for Malaysia, Voting Day!!!

Have you voted?

Who are you voting for? :)

Happy voting, Malaysian Folks!

One of my dear friend suddenly have slip disc and she is only around my age which makes me want to find out more on what could cause back pain to young people like us. She told me that it is due to sitting too long and other bad habits that cause pressure on her spine.

BUT all of us sits around 8 hours at work and when we are at home, we sit nearly all the time too, don't we?!? (Hands up for those who are not guilty of sitting too much!!!)

So, how to sit correctly and reduce back pain?

And after some googling, I find that :

- The best position in which to sit at your desk is leaning slightly back, at about 135 degrees
- It was least pronounced with the 135-degree posture, suggesting less strain is placed on the spinal disks and associated muscles and tendons in a more relaxed sitting position
- Disk movement was found to be most pronounced with a 90-degree upright sitting posture! Which is bad!
- The "slouch" position (less than 70-degree) revealed a reduction in spinal disk height, signifying a high rate of wear and tear on the lowest two spinal levels.

"Sitting in a sound anatomic position is essential, since the strain put on the spine and its associated ligaments over time can lead to pain, deformity and chronic illness."

Well, so the best way to sit and to reduce strain on our backbone is by leaning back 135 degrees, though it is certainly not a position that I expected to be the best and even sounds weird to me!

And remember to walk around every now and then, at least once every hour, either to get some water or go to the loo! :)

Once, after dinner at Taman Megah, my housemates and I visited the pet shop next to the foodcourt.

In a small aquarium of small fishes of the same species, I saw a few aggressive fishes were attacking a dead fish, eating the remaining of it. I think it is very gruesome and brutal! But I also noticed some fishes were swimming on top of the aquarium, apparently wasn't bothered by the activities at the bottom of the aquarium.

"It's a Fish eats Fish world", the thought cross my mind.

It reminds me of the office politic, where some of the superior tend to bully or attack some subordinates. Or it also happens between colleagues or managers at the same level to fight for power or promotion. But some people would remain unaffected as they do not want to be involved in any of it, they just want to do their job well.

The bully would be the aggressive fish and the one being bullied is the dead fish. Meanwhile those who couldn't care less and didn't want to participate in a politic would be the fishes swimming on top of the aquarium. :D

And, I want to remain as the fishes on top of the aquarium.

I couldn’t find my wallet,” my friend said casually this morning. “But I believe it must be somewhere in my room.”

“Are you sure it is not stolen or lost?” I asked suspiciously and he rejected the idea, pretty sure that it was somewhere in his room.

He came to our house again in the afternoon.

“So, have you found your wallet?” I asked him.

“No, I couldn’t find it anywhere!” he remarked.

After some analysing, I concluded that his wallet has been stolen as he was staying in the room at the back of the house. He always leaves his window wide opened and left his wallet on the table! Gosh!!!

I have warned him the day he moved into the room that he must be careful of his stuffs as he is staying at the back room and it is prone to burglary. I faced it before in my last year of university when I stayed in the back room too.

I remembered going for dinner with my friends and when we were home, I just put my purse on the table. Then I went to my room friend for a short chat. I couldn’t find it after a little while and then saw my hanger which was near my table was straightened and was outside my window!

The thief had cleverly used my hanger to reach my purse! Damn him, the useless, stupid thief who couldn’t decently work for a living!!! It was my second or third time losing my purse and I really hate to do my identification card again and was really afraid of getting a red I/C!  (>_<)"

Anyway, after hearing my experiences, my friend recalled seeing some dust at one of the window and some sign of break in. Somehow, he took it calmly and I was even more agitated and frantic than him, though it was his first time losing his wallet! Weird..
