Somehow I was a little excited to see her arrival as I expected her to be real late or never turn up at all. As the previous guy was real late and he blamed in on the traffic. I even need to give him the direction to my house; which he able to find my house with an ease and he said was a good one (the direction I mean). ^.^

Anyway, I quickly opened the gate and went into my room, looking for my purse. Darn, where did I put it? I scrambled around nervously till I found it.

She spread out her tools on my dining/working table of ours.

I rolled up my left sleeves and plonked on the chair right beside her.

She squeezed my upper arm and said, “There was hardly any flesh, eh?” (=.=)”

I smiled nervously. (=.=)”

Houssy SST made fun of me and took up his camera phone asking me if I wanted to record down my bitter moment. >_<

Turn a bit to this side”, she said.

And so I turned around and faced the outside view of the house. The weather was marvellous to me. It had just rain.

Think of something, I told myself. Divert your thought.

“It’ll be fast,” she said.

Being the third time, I didn’t want to ask many questions. Just get over with it.

And it came.

A very sharp pain but indeed it was short as promised.

She put a cotton pad on it and applied some pressure to it which I made a soundless-ouch.

Hey, someone was around and I didn’t want to be appeared like a baby.

She left after I paid.

That was the experience of my 3rd Hepatitis B jab.

Yeah, now I am hepatitis-B-protected and can indulge in any seafood without worrying about getting infected by others!

I remembered one of my friend’s pal got Hepatitis B and it is easily transmitted by bodily fluid and so even sharing a food isn’t allowed. I always wondered how he was going to kiss his girlfriend! Not that he got any girl at that moment with his unbearable attitude (or so I thought) but now he got one I guess.   :P

We are not in touch anymore but every time I think of hepatitis B, I find myself trying to find a solution on how he gonna kiss his girl!

Anyway, coming up will be my Hepatitis A vaccination, which I am still wondering whether I should get it or not.

I wish I can just write about the KungFu Panda review that I have just watched recently. It’s in my mind since last Sunday, I mean I wanted to review it but I just haven’t really gotten the mood or time as I keep wanting to do something else. Like watching PS I Love You that I have downloaded for the second time due to the first was a cinema version and the subtitle didn’t match.

I don’t know why but watching movie with subtitle is crucial to me. I am not good at catching what they said and I must know exactly what is the conversation is or I’ll just lost my interest watching it.

So I downloaded all over again and watched it all by myself and it was an amazing movie. (if you got the subtitle right and clear screen of course!)

It was superb and very touching. Guess watching alone was right as I hate getting teary with companions.

I am simply moved by the way the story, or more to the act of love by the hero in the movie. He died of brain tumour. But he got a plan to make her move on with her life as he knew she would be not over him when he went to heaven.

It was just amazing (I can’t emphasize enough) and well, another romance movie though but a well written one. I am so tempted to write about the story but well if you really want to know, you might as well as watch it. It’s good (again, if you like romance) movie. ^.^

Rate : 4.5 stars!

About KungFu Panda, I was told it was frigging hilarious (yeah that’s the exact word) and so I wanted to watch it due to the word “frigging” he used. I trusted him. It must be damn good. And I raised my expectation so high.

And so I went to cinema with this arrogant vibes, sit back and went “humour me”. I guess that didn’t really work out as I should have known through numerous experiences.

Expectations are not meant to be met.

It was funny alright, I laughed. But I was waiting to be really humoured with the sky-high-expectation. And it serves me right that I didn’t get it.

Wait a minute…!

It wasn’t me who raised the expectation. It is everyone else that says it is a damn good hilarious movie. Even the US movie chart shows that it is top 2!!!

Well, maybe I’ll download the Kung Fu Panda in English version next time and watch it with lower expectation. It might do me good. So yeah..

Rate : 3 stars!

P/S: The ‘PS I Love You’ might not be that touching (
well, just to lower your expectation). :P

Who the hell reads the terms and agreement when you are to download a free software or installing them to your pc?

I don’t.

In fact, I believe no one actually does it. Unless, well, the person who writes it. Or one have too much free time and couldn’t think of a better things to do? Or maybe the pc hangs when it is installing and thus, being forced to read the terms and conditions which is freezed at the monitor at that point of time? Or maybe there are people who enjoy reading them after all. People are different, rite?

Anyway, the point is I don’t and something happens.

Well no, my pc doesn’t crashes or something.

It started this way. I downloaded the free version of
WordWeb, which is a one-click English thesaurus and dictionary which is rather easy and convenient for me to look up for the meaning of a word.

Little did I realised or bothered to read the licensing conditions.

After a month of enjoying the free dictionary which I find rather useful at times; one fine morning, a small little message pop up!
I thought it was a
survey, which asked how often did you fly for the past 12 months. There were objective answers and I almost clicked on the default which I think was less than 1 time.

Then I hesitated and thought I might as well be honest since I thought it was a survey and I have used the program for free. Which was way I clicked more than 2 trips.

And suddenly, I got this message box popped up, telling me that I am not qualified to use the free dictionary anymore! Darn!!!

So much of being honest and flying due to business (or leisure!)! And later, I found out about their licensing conditions.

WordWeb free version may be used indefinitely only by people who take at most two commercial flights (not more than one return flight) in any 12 month period. People who fly more than this need to purchase the Pro version if they wish to continue to use it after a 30-day trial period.

Global greenhouse gas emissions are currently around 5 tonnes of carbon dioxide per person per year, and probably need to be reduced by at least 80% have a good chance of avoiding dangerous warming. Most computer users are responsible for far more emissions than is sustainable. For example two short-medium distance return flights can be equivalent to over 1 tonne of emissions1: more than an average person can safely emit over an entire year.

Duhh…!!!! Blush

And so Wednesday is here again and I still have nothing to write. Hence this post of nothingness.

Nothing happens.

Except that my big boss has just arrived from US again till Friday. Free lunch tomorrow~ Hip hip hooooray!!!

Yeah nothing really happens since Monday. Except work as usual.

Yesterday I went to dentist again, after a visit 10 days earlier. One of my braces’ bracket fell off when I bite a preserved-nangka-snack from Hanoi which was very hard but tasty. Yum. No regret. =P

So my dentist asked me why was I here again in such short time.

My bracket fell off, I replied.

You ate something hard again? He snorted.

Nope. It felt off when I was eating porridge. I smirked.

And his very fierce wife actually became warm to me (after more than a year of visiting her husband every single month, without fail) and asked why did I came so early (she meant the time instead of days). And she even remembered my name which she mentioned to the dentist. For a minute, I felt like a regular patient of hers.

To mark the 20th months I have been patronizing the dentist, I finally found out that he was actually a Kedah-an, instead of Thai nations that he claimed all these while. (=.=)”

I suppose he didn’t think that I would have believed what he said. Of course I did. I hand over my 24 teeth under his care. Yes, that is how few teeth I have (after counting them again when I couldn’t sleep yesterday night again). A normal adult have either 28 – 32 teeth, depending on how many wisdom tooth you have.

As per normal braces-service, he would change the little rubber on the braces and knowing well that I always insist on neutral color like white, yellow or beige, he took out bright green rubbers from his drawer.

I almost screamed out NO!!! It was bright green which would make me looks uglier than Ugly Betty (when I had bright blue the other time).

Green is nice what, he said.

Yes, like spinach sticking to your teeth after your meal, I said. (=.=)”

And yeah, that’s about the dentist visit I had on Tuesday. Including all the talk we had on the petrol price, inflation, my job, Chemistry and his study. Is he talkative or what. Not me, definitely. He’s good in making people comfortable sitting on his chair. And yes, he commented again that my hair style doesn’t suit me. (=.=)”

The next day my lower jaw’s teeth sore when I chew. I am not sure why as they should be only movement on the upper teeth and not the lower one. I even have to chew my bread softly and slowly or it hurts.

And to think that I was so stupid enough to buy guava after my lunch time today. Maybe I should just suck them till they become soft and swallow them. Ewww

Monday.

Thanks to the project which I somehow secretly wished for a couple of weeks ago, I was requested to join the team who needs more manpower to handle with overflowed QA jobs for the project.

And how I picked up the flu virus from a colleague who is sick (due to stress I suspected) as I have to liaise with her so frequently. Sharing a mouse is such a bad idea when one is sick. Only now did I realize it which is way too late. After half a box of tissues, so to say.

And thus I was down with flu that lasted 4 days and I thought it was finally going down after I slept more than 12 hours on Saturday and swallowed 3 flu pills which I haven’t been taking it for months; which made the sleep even better! (^.^)

And on Monday morning, I felt rather good (despite being Monday) and I could whistle a tune that kept playing in my head since I woke up. Never mind the fact that I dreamt of an ex-colleague who drove an aluminum wired car, dropped me at my house after work extra-curriculum died when her car crushed right in front of my house. Weird. But then again, they said if you dream that someone died the person actually live longer.

Short of skipping, it didn’t really hit me that it was Monday until I was waiting for the lift at the office building! I questioned myself for being so cheery as it was the start of a 5 work days before weekend again! Which suppose to be dreadful.

I had a moment of dread to start work although I deep inside I was content of having some work to do, all lined up. See, I love to be productive at work.

Till I found myself sniffling again! And one side of my nose is blocked again. Darn! I thought it is all going away. And I heard my cubicle neighbor sniffling too, which made me wonder how long this damn flu virus going to reside in my body. Or hers.

A little conversation between my colleague and me last Friday. Here it goes :

Colleague : I am so stressed! There is so much to do and to test!!! *sigh*

Me
: Take it easy. Tomorrow is weekend already! Can rest for 2 days. Hooorayyy!!!

Colleague
: But on Monday, we have to deal this again.

Me
: Rest first and then continue to think about it on Monday.

Colleague
: I will keep thinking about it over the weekend.

Me
: You really do that? Why? Just forget about it! Put it down.

Colleague
: I can't do that. You just worry about things one day at a time. You can just forget about it?

Me
: Yes, indeed I can and I do that. In fact I even let it go after I knock off from work everyday. Or else you'll age fast with all the stress!

Colleague
: Yes, no wonder I look older. Must learn to let go.. (=.=)"

Well, from the conversation with my colleague, initially I wondered if I wasn't as good an employee as she was. As she was truly worried about the same projects that we handled together up to the extend of worrying it during weekend and after work!

For me, I seldom think about works at home and I don't really get stressed up, unless during working hour. But I suppose we have to let go of it now and then or else it would be too heavy when we carry it for too long without resting.

So, now I think I am a smarter employee, not a less efficient and loyal one. =)

Do you worry about your work after working hours and over the weekend? Or you just pick up the work burden again when you step into the office every morning?

P/S : Happy Weekend! Put down the work baggage and enjoy your weekend!!!

A hot lady walked into the LRT train that I was in the other morning. She came and lean against the wall opposite of where I stood which gave me a clear, unblocked view of her.

She wore this little jacket that is rather fashionable but I couldn't wear as I am not fleshy enough. She also wore ¾ tight pants which would not be flattering on my petite body. She had nice make up on her face and looks confident with her curly long hair and was chewing gums. Attractive, but not striking pretty, I thought.

And yes, I couldn't stop observing about her during the long, boring train ride, wondering if she was a Chinese or Malay.

And suddenly… opppsss… I realized something!!! Her zipper on her pants was not up!!! It wasn't wide open but obviously was down with a glance!
O.o

I was contemplating whether to tell her which would definitely draw the attention of the LRT crowds as it was very quiet during that time. Or I could just keep quiet which would make her more embarrass if other people see it and she might not realize till her visit to the loo or when she was back home. Oucchh..

And after much thought I decided to take the second option, as probably that would save her more embarrassment? I couldn't imagine having anyone telling me that my zipper is open in the public by a total stranger! Ahh…. Malunya…

And for the rest of the ride, I just stared nervously at her zipper..

Even though Vietnam War ended about 30 years ago, but the havoc created by the war is trailing over the children now. Many new-borns are deformed due to the chemical bombing used during the war and the numbers of victims are a huge one.

„The US Airforce used during the war a chemical called Agent Orange which de-foiled the jungle and therefore many Vietnamese soldiers were exposed to this aggressive chemical. The long-term effects are genetic transformations in their children so that they have mental and physical disabilities.“ Extracted from East Eats West~

Some are able to work to support themselves but most need help. It was really sad to hear how the cruelty of war lives on, many, many years after the war has ended.

Some of the lovely artworks by the disabled.
