Tell me, what should I visit and eat in Malacca? I am going there this weekend! My colleague exclaimed happily!

Oh gosh, it was one of the questions that I really dread! (=.=)"

Before I could open my mouth, another colleague of mine from Taiping saved me the agony and told her where she should visit and what to eat! Thank goodness!

I am THAT bad when it comes to places to visit and eating places in my hometown that is so famous for food! Yes, I know, the chicken rice ball, satay celup, wan tan mee, ikan bakar, nyonya food and cendol. (Salivating? Me too! :P )

The thing is my father always bought them home for us (yeah lucky me) or we go to our regular places. And it doesn't help with me having no sense of direction at all. I literally know only 3 places in Malacca; my home, my school and the bus station! :D

Which is why I was so glad to get a copy of the precious book "50+1 Malaysia" by Quachee! (Ahem.. I know him personally, or at least I know his brother quite well! :P ) *show off*

The book is at a pocket size, perfect to be carried anywhere but be amazed by the comprehensive contents! I couldn't believe that it could includes so many topics; 7 topics with 51 things that you will not want to miss! (With pictures too!)

For a start, it covers the Malaysian culture which I can relate to almost every one of them and it is really amusing! Especially the "lah" which I asked my Indonesian friend and he said they don't use the "lah" like we do! So, it's really Malaysian lah~

Second topic will really make anyone goes really hungry as it is about food! The very night I read that topic, I have to ask my mum to buy some satay for dinner! No kidding~! =D

Next is about 51 places to visit in Malaysia, which is really interesting! I never know that there is so many places that I can visit locally without having to fly to another country. ;)

Also not to be missed; how to travel around in this lovely country and how we celebrate the many festivals we have here. There are also interviews of the many famous people in Malaysia which made us proud.

Truly, I think I really learn much more about my country that before after reading this little booklet! Thanks Quachee. His love for his country has inspired him to come out with such a great book, that should be read by all Malaysians as well as a great guide to tourists to know Malaysia better!

Happy Merdeka to everyone and have a safe journey! =)
