I need to exercise. Or so I have been told.

I need to exercise. Though I am skinny.

I need to exercise. For health reason. For cholesterol reason.

It’s end of the year already! Which means I’ll be going for my annual medical check up again! This time it will be critical as I want my cholesterol level to DROP. To borderline level at least. And thus I am making extra effort to exercise. No, it’s not cheating.

And thus I tried to make the effort by going to the TTDI hiking a few weeks ago. On Monday, I wake up earlier for a jog at nearby park. Two weeks ago, we tried cycling in Botanical Garden at Putrajaya. It didn’t sweat as much as the one at Bukit Cahaya (Taman Pertanian) Shah Alam.

But the Botanical garden is quite pretty, and so I ended up taking more picture than doing the cycling.

It is open from Tuesday to Sunday and you can rent bicycle or tandem there. Bicycle 1 hour is about RM3/4 for a bicycle on weekend (2 hours on weekday). Tandem is RM7 an hour. It opens from 9am onward.

Here are two pictures of non-me, the beautiful Putrajaya.

Putrajaya Botanical Garden is indeed a lovely place for outdoor exercise and fun. Nice photos there! : )

To lower your cholesterol, besides exercise, you can try to take Omega 3 (fish) oil, red yeast rice, and oat. At the same time, try to avoid trans fat and processed food. If you can do these, you will definitely see a drop in your total cholesterol as well as your bad LDL cholesterol.

Aerobic exercise, eating fibres and drinking small amount of alcohol (not more than 1 glass a day) can increase good HDL cholesterol : )

Never knew Putrajaya existed till I return to M’sia for a visit last year. Pathetic, huh?

Oatmeal will help reduce your cholesterol. Keep up your good work! :)

I feel embarrassed as I haven’t known there’s a botanical garden in Putrajaya. Although I’ve been hanging around there for 2 years plus! ;p Anyway, I’ve been to the lake in your last picture for canoeing :) It was fun canoeing with bunch of friends and we got really wet by playing the water war.
