Sun Wong at Jaya One~
As usual, I like to try out new places for breakie.. and this time, I went to Sun Wong, owned by Overseas Group at Jaya One. The theme is striking black and red! It is quite a big restaurant alright.
Actually I went there for dinner before and it was like other Hong Kong char-chan-teng/restaurant. I didn’t quite like the dinner as I felt that it wasn’t as nice as I expected.
However, seeing the breakfast set meals from RM5.90 onwards, I wanted to give it another chance.
But I guess, I just didn’t quite like the food there. Not to mention the awfully slow service! We waited for quite a long time before the food was served and it was supposed to operate a couple of hours before we arrived.
Anyway, I think the coffee was pretty rich and nice. But the rest was just so so.

Not healthy…bacon….but it’s nice..
Anyway, hardly go to Jaya One anymore. Hate the jam there during peak hours.
the spaghetti soup looks awfully plainn! hmm..speaking of coffee..i need that @.@
the coffee so small only not much to enjoy =p
Hmm..next time i know better not to go there! Thanks for the fair warning!
i went there once, and i’m the only customer there. Don’t like the food .. service was not very good either…
Never mind, next time I belanja you breakfast there wokay?
The next time you visit JayaOne, go to this fusion Japanese restaurant - Kissaten. I just got back from JayaOne..from Kissaten to be precise! hehe
Never been there. After reading this, don’t think I will go! : )
looks really delicious
spaghetty soup looks like spaghetty in clear water!
The bacon fried rice is really really nice in Sun Wong, and the chan paos are also full of juicy charsiu goodness. The service could be a bit more proactive and alert, and apparently despite having a breakfast menu starting from 7.30am it’s sometimes not open until around 9.30.
mayb i should give them another chance?
