Free 1 Day Trip~
Filed Under entertainment, fun, me, life | 6 Comments
After five days of long waiting and almost unproductive days, weekend finally arrived! Not waiting for the weekend, but for something else that get on my nerve and I should let it flow along instead of losing my head at other people’s slow response.
Anyway, I was glad to have a blast weekend or it was much better than the rest of the weekends (except last Sat).
Since we got free Genting Outdoor Theme voucher from Jusco for birthday, we decided to make full use of it since I think the last time I played there was almost 8 years ago, or more? The entrance free is already at RM38 for adult and RM27 for children on normal days. Yay, 2 free coupons!
Well, upon reaching there, it was quite misty and very cold and thus we hit the casino first. Ironically, ten years after having the ‘passport’ to enter the casino, they still want to check my ID. With RM100 as capital and betting the ‘big/small’ game (RM25 per bet), we managed to win few rounds and then started to lose to our last RM25! However we managed to pull through the last bet and then started to win again.
We walked away with 85% of profit winning and hit KFC. After all, my one year of banning KFC was finally over and I couldn’t wait to taste the sinful crispy chicken again. =)
By 1pm, the weather was sunny again and excitedly we went to the Outdoor theme park! It was quite cold and I wore my favourite white jacket and comfortable Keen shoes. Not too crowded, nice!
We played six games (Spinner, Tea Cup, Pirate Train, Boating, Flying Dragon, Pirate Ship) before it started to drizzle around 3pm again. So we bought a bowl of expensive Tom Yam instant noodle (RM5.50) and a 500ml mineral water (RM2.50) and had our tea time there in the park. ^.^
Then we headed to Starbuck for my free birthday coffee from HSBC! Before we took the Genting Skyway back to downhill, we went to the First World casino for a while, but decided not to gamble away our RM85 of winning.
After all, everything has been paid for!
A short relaxing & fun trip. Just what I needed.. =)

Best night view of KL
Filed Under photo, entertainment, food | 19 Comments
Where do you find the most beautiful night view of KL in KL? Well, apart from KLCC where you can view the night view but then again, you cannot see the beautiful KLCC itself! A great place to bring your outstation friends to see the lovely night view is from Ampang Hill.
I went there for the first time earlier this month. The road was a little winding and steep but the view? Spectacular!!!
We had our late dinner there (after being caught in the stupid traffic jam for more than an hour!) at LookOut Point Restaurant.
The food wasn’t very good though (I’ll give 2 stars only) and the service was a little too late as it was packed! But the view (4.5 stars!) make your trip worthwhile!
It is a nice view, isn't it?
The a little too crowded restaurant though it was around 8pm - 9pm on Saturday night..

I had grilled fish, so so only..
This is either special chicken chop or Maryland chicken..

StarDust~
Filed Under entertainment, movie | 4 Comments
I really couldn’t remember the last movie I watched in the cinema. It was perhaps a couple of months ago, yeah, it’s that long! Yesterday night, I went to watch StarDust at GSC, One Utama. I don’t know how to categorize this movie, as it is a little of everything; romance, comedy, fairy tale, action, adventure.
When I stepped into the cinema, I have no idea what was the movie all about, only thinking that it might be romance as the title was indicating it. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the movie thoroughly as it was rather a pleasant one and very creatively scripted, especially the humour.
It is about a special young guy, stepped into the enchanted world to find the fallen star for his puppy love, Victoria (who was such a naïve young girl). He found the star, which is a young lady who was searched by the princes who wanted to be the next king and 3 witches who were longing for beauty and youth!
The idea of the story was very fresh and imaginative. I particularly like the humour in the movie, like the king encouraging the sons to kill each other for his throne (these were really funny), the dead souls of princes as the ghost floating around waiting for the next king before they could be released, the 3 witches who were quite different from those traditional witches and catching the lightning!
Certainly a great movie with a touch of hilarity and absurdity, love as well as essence of life advices (if you listen carefully enough)!

Filed Under firework, entertainment, fun, friend | 9 Comments
Yesterday, thinking that the Putrajaya won’t be packed and as it was the Australia team, HEAF-ian and some of us went to see the firework competition! One word to describe : AWESOME!
Since I am using low-end Casio Exclim camera which I know couldn’t capture nice pictures at night, I decided to take video instead. I am uploading some to YouTube and here :
This is the final firework before it ended :
This is my favourite, the colorful firework! :
A lot of fireworks at the same time! Marvellous~
Well, if you haven’t gone there and would like to see, you can check out the time table here. No need to buy pricey ticket, can just see from outside, clear & nice! But take note, damn traffic jam when the firework ended, so many people went!!!
(Sorry DT, I went without you.)

Ratatouille!!!
Filed Under entertainment, fun, friend, movie | 5 Comments
Yesterday we had a secret plan to surprised Yit after work. KW and I picked her up from KLCC as instructed by Sean and bring her to One Utama. Then we had a nice dinner at Teppayanki using the MyStyle sms voucher, buy 1 free 1! Yit was convinced that we were bringing her there for bowling but of course it was not!
Then we brought her to the cinema after pretending that the bowling was fully booked. We told her that we gonna watch Harry Potter. But when the movie started, she got a nice surprise~ Ratatouille!!! She had been wanting to watch it and told us since last week, again and again. But we purposely waved her off, telling that it was a lousy movie and we do not want to watch it!

Yes, the movie has not started officially till tomorrow but smart Sean managed to get 4 premiere tickets by queuing up from 6.15pm to 7.00pm to redeem them~
It was rather a hilarious animation with a cute Remi, a small little mouse with big dreams! He hates to eat garbage and appreciates really good food. Linguini, the famous chef was his idol! But he didn’t get any support from his big family.. see how he can become a great chef~

The beautiful ferris wheel..
Filed Under entertainment, fun, friend, weekend | 5 Comments
Finally stepped our feet at the Eye Of Malaysia, the dazzling Ferris Wheel that has been here in Tasik Titiwangsa since early of the year to promote ‘Visit Malaysia 2007’! Went there on Saturday evening with Yit, Sean & KW~
It is RM15 per adult for 6 rounds, around 15 minutes! Senior citizen and children at RM8 only~
It was simply beautiful especially at night, drawing a big crowd on a Saturday night, even after more than 7 months it’s been here.
There are many stalls selling clothes, foods, toys and also clowns around. And we were busy capturing pictures after pictures, before the sky turn darks and after the light were up at night!
Three of us~
Me with the tall clown and Sean looking from the behind..
Balloons~ Kids just loved it!
Simply breathtaking, isn't it?
There were this few adorable kids, queuing up behind me when we were going for the ride. So at first, I secretly captured their picture, without the parent knowledge, fearing that they wouldn't allow me to do so..
She's just so cute, isn't she!
Look at her innocent little face!!!
But after a while, the parents didn’t seem to mind and the kids were so eager looking at the big camera and I became so high taking pictures after pictures of the charming little faces!
The little girl on the left is only 4 years old, but she’s quite tall and definitely cutest among them. She was kinda shy too..
Ok, I've taken so many pictures of those kids but not uploading all of them here.. =)
The beautiful ferris wheel at the back~
Look at the gleaming ferris wheel~
Look at that crowd!!!
Waiting for our turn to the ride~!!!
The night view of city life from the top of Ferris Wheel.. But can't see much except for the Petronas Twin Towers and Public Bank building..
Done with the ride! Fun, better if it was spin faster!!!
Looking up to the lovely ferris wheel, that keep changing its color~
Good bye, Ferris Wheel~

Food temptation to the pets!
Filed Under funny, entertainment | Leave a Comment
This is damn funny video clips. If you have pets you can try to train them not to be tempted when they’re surrounded by foods!!! I have tried with my dog and she could understand when I said “don’t eat it”. I’ll put a piece of food in front of her nose, let her smell it and then put in front of her and warn her not to eat it. She’ll understand and look elsewhere, trying to distract herself of the temptation in front of her!!!
I think she’s quite smart and she’ll only eat it when instructed. Unless I left her with the food and go away for too long, I think she might eat it!
See the monkey in the clip too, so cute!
