I finally made it, after leaving university for about six years and it sure feels good. When I was in my third year I finally managed to get a study loan worth RM10k from Yayasan Pok Rafeah.

Uh, what’s that again? (you might asked)

It is a private loan from this Yayasan, that was very kind to loan you money for study with no interest at all, believe it or not, it’s true! Not even a cent of interest, but you got to pay them back. But it’s worth it, better than PTPTN, rite? :P

I was happy at that time, money was coming in. But not when I was paying it off!

It took me
6 years to pay off a non-interest RM10K loan, as there were gaps which I didn’t pay monthly as I should be. So for the last couple of months, I really have to fork out a couple of hundreds monthly and it FINALLY clears off in January 2008!

Wooohooo~~!!! :D

But then again, now there are still loans that I am paying for my car as well as braces and Dell laptop. And I am so not looking forward for a house loan but dying to own a house. Irony. It's the ULTIMATE loan, someday.

I guess, as a working middle class, many people do have their loan (especially at my age), whether it is car loan, house loan or small business.

But some loans are not easily obtained as they required a lot of documents, guarantors and even strong financial ability for repayment. There aren’t many financial companies like AFS loan which has no application fees but with the lowest interest rate. It can be easily applied through online with a fast approval and no fuss of documents.

For me, one loan down, another three to go! :)

Of course I was looking forward to buy branded stuffs when I was here. It is much cheaper here compared to Malaysia but then again, everywhere else is cheaper than M'sia, right? Not that I fancy much of branded goods but well, I wouldn't mind a piece or two… if it's cheap. :P

So we went to this premium outlet stores in Gilroy on Sunday which was really a huge place with lots of branded name stores, like Coach, Banana Republic, Timberland, Nike, Gap, Levi's and etc. I went into some of the stores which I didn't dare to step in when in Malaysia. We reached there before 11am and shopped till 6pm when they closed (with lunch break in between)!

The prices are indeed much cheaper! Stuffs that I have bought either for myself or someone else are : Nike Sport shoes (at extremely good deal and am real happy bout it), Nike Duffel Bag, 2 Nike T-shirts, Fossil watch, Fossil purse, 2 Levi's jeans, Bass purse, Jansport pouch, 2 Gap shirts, Vit E cream and Vit A & C supplements.

Some of the pictures.. :

My Fossil watch, with interchangeable ribbons~

1 Fossil & 1 Bass Leather Purse..

My NIKE shoes, love it!

One of my 2 Gap shirt, another is just light pink long sleeves..

My Jansport pouch, though I don't like to use pouch so much but convenient to have one here..

My Levi's~

All of above cost me like USD207 only! That is under RM700 for so many items which are a real bargain. I wish we could go again but the place is like an hour drive away and I think the sales ended last weekend. And my money is running out, very fast! >_<

Update  :  Spent another USD100 today for Levi's jeans, a small bag for myself, 2 belts, 1 Nike shirt & 4 mini Victoria secret's perfumes~ I MUST stop spending!!!

Gee.. I heaved a sigh of relief when I finally received an email from Paypal this morning. Well, I did a stupid mistake yesterday at their system. Not me actually, but the unfriendliness of their system!

Wanting to check how much it costs to upgrade to Premier Account from my Personal Account, I click on the Upgrade button and it prompts me to a screen for selection of Premier and Business Account. There was a Continue button, which NORMALLY means what IT MEANS. Continue. I clicked it and voila, I am Premier account now!!! What the.. !!! There is not even a Confirm button or an Are You Sure You want to Upgrade’ message box or screen to change the account type!!!

I wrote to their customer service, waited patiently, almost yanking out my hairs and cursing at my own stupidity (should be theirs, lousy system right!). And finally got an email from them, telling me that they have changed it back to Personal Account!!! Ohh, thank god! But I can only downgrade it once for the account, no turning back if it happens the next time. But I am happy with the Paypal customer service, very polite, fast & efficient!

I guess I won’t be stupid for two times, will I?

So, jadikan pengalaman saya sebagai pengajaran anda~ (Take my experience as your lesson)

Btw, I think it is really cool that now we Malaysian can finally withdraw from Paypal~

Wheee~~

Love and hate relationship~

What will u do if you found a crispy ten dollar notes ($10) lying on the ground?

1.       Will u pick up and keep it to yourself. Finder’s Keeper.
2.       Ask others around if they drop their money.
3.       Pretend you didn’t see it.
4.       Ask your friend/family who was with you to pick up and split with her/him the money.
5.       Take it and give to charity.
6.       Give to the bodyguard/staffs working there.

Well, just now after lunch, I found RM10 lying on the ground at the ATM machine at Maybank. It was folded nicely, thus it wasn’t being withdrawn from the machine. There weren’t many people there, nor anyone opening their wallet to be the suspected owner.

Thus I picked it up and put it in my purse together with the money I had just withdrawn. It wasn’t a large sum to begin with (less than USD3) and I couldn’t go to the police station (Sean asked me that!!!) with that money, could I?

So, in this case, finder’s keeper.

Would u have done the same?
